Barbara Sue (nee Maxey) Smith of Goshen, OH., passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 73. Barbara was born on July 22, 1951, in Oneida, Tennessee.

She is the beloved wife of the late James Harold Smith; loving mother of James (Chrissy) Smith, Jason (Alicia) Smith and Tiny Maxey; proud grandmother of Samantha Smith. Dear sister of Diane Maxey, Max Maxey, George Maxey and the late Donny Maxey. Cherished daughter of the late Frank and Maxine (nee Morrow) Maxey. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 8 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Tuesday. Pastor Larry Gee officiating.
