Barbara Norman Shrout (Mitchell), age 79, of Day Heights, passed away on February 7, 2020. She was the daughter of the late James E. and Lucille Ellison Mitchell. Born December 16, 1940 in Dawson, WV. She attended Terrace Park and Mariemont schools and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was a 37 year employee of Hill Top Research. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley R. Norman and sister, Shelva J. Norman. Those left to cherish Barbara's memory include her husband Charles Glenn Shrout, her brother, John W. Mitchell and wife Barbara of Milford. Sons Mark A. Norman and wife Tammy of Amelia, John W. Norman and wife Kimberly of Mt. Repose and daughter Lisa E. Jones and husband Steven of Loveland; step-children Robert Shrout of Florida and the late Jolene Wooldridge of Texas; adored grandchildren, Amanda Norman Young, Ashley Norman, Brittany Norman, Brandi Norman, Jessica Norman, Zakary Jones and step-grandchildren, John and Julia Wooldridge. Barbara cherished the relationship and memories of her close friends, nieces and nephews. Friends may gather with the Family on Tuesday, February 11 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Burial at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Pallbearers for Barbara will be Mark Norman, John Norman, Steve Jones, John Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell and Kevin Mitchell. Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for Barbara's services.
