Barbara Jane Huwel of Loveland, Ohio. Loving wife of 59 years to John W. Huwel. Caring mother of Tara (Matt) Kennedy and John Scott Huwel. Proud grandmother of Matthew Kennedy, Megan Kennedy, Abigail Kennedy, Alexa Huwel, John Robert Huwel, and Mischa Huwel. Dear sister of the late Jerry O’Banion, Douglas (Lola) O’Banion, and Shirley (Raymond) Buerger. Cherished daughter of the late Victor and Lillian O’Banion. Barb passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 80.

Barb's greatest joy in life was caring for and spending time with her family. She never knew a stranger and made everyone she met feel seen, understood and loved. Barb had a deep love for animals, gardening, cooking, the outdoors, music and road trips. She spent her time through the years volunteering and donating to cause near and dear to her heart.

She will be missed immensely by her close friends and family.
