Devoted mother of Angie (Chris) Philpott, proud grandmother of Nicholas, Zachary, and Whitney Philpott, dear sister of Richard (Rosie) Hines and Alan Hines, precious aunt of Rhonda (Bill) Berg, Robert E. Hines, Andrea Hines, and Adam Hines, loving companion of Richard Metzger. Also survived by numerous cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert O. and Helen B. (nee Gillespie) Hines. Tuesday, November 7, 2005 in her 63rd year. Barbara was a member of St. Columban Catholic Church, where she shared her musical gifts in praise to God. She was also a member of Our Lady of Grace Lay Carmelite Community.
