Barbara Nicole Collett of Blanchester, Ohio, received her angel wings on July 2, 2022, at the age of 17. Born February 20, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Aaron Collett and Shelby (Donzell Shirley) Pierce. Barbara loved the Lord and regularly attended church at both Waters of Mercy and Edenton Baptist. In keeping with Barbara's loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate life so others may live. She was a best friend to many and will be profoundly missed. Along with her parents, Barbara is survived by her sisters, Amelia Collett, Samantha Spires, Emmalynn Shirley; grandparents, Bonnie (Eddie Walker) Sloan, Barb (Robert) Baker, and David Pierce; great-grandmother, Kathleen Hamm; aunts, Crystal (Shay) Vogel, Erin Pierce, and Nicole Johnson; uncles, Rick (Angie) Collett, Mike (Molly) Collett, and Josh Pierce; cousins, Renea, Erin, Eddie, Timmy, Teala, Patience, Lav, Aliya, Brooklyn, Evan, Kailee, Hannah, Lucas, Michael, Becka, Zoe, Chole, Hailie, Christina, Jimmy, Josh, Courtney, and Destiny; great-uncles Paul Hamm, Joe Hamm, and Jim (Judy) Hamm; great-aunt, Rose Hamm; second family, Buddy, Mindy, Payton, and Caleb. Barbara was preceded in death by her grandpa Rick Collett; great-grandparents, Ray and Flo Chadwell and David Hamm. The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester, where friends will be received from 10am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery.
