Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Ernest Marsh, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Gary Marsh, John (Maria) Marsh, and the late Eric (Theresa) Marsh and Ted Marsh; cherished grandmother of Troy Marsh, Todd Marsh, Zane Marsh, Tessa Edwards, Amber Marsh, Kaleigh Peters, Tyler Marsh, Scott Marsh and Hannah Barre; proud great-grandmother of Jacalynn Wiles, David Marsh, Elizabeth Marsh, Mackenzie Marsh, Malyiah Marsh, Jacob Meeker, Molly Meeker, Indiana Peters, Emma Peters, and Eleanor Marsh; proud great-great-grandmother of Henry Wiles, Walter Wiles, and Katherine Wiles; and dear sister of Noralie Kidd and John Edwards. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Barbara Marsh was an incredible woman. She got her first job as a secretary for her outstanding penmanship at the RL Polk Company. She later applied all of those skills to work on the accounting and bookkeeping side of the family masonry business. Barbara was an amazing cook and was always whipping up delicious culinary delights for friends and family that were always asking her what her secret recipe was. She was a master gardener and grew an abundance of herbs, vegetables, and beautiful flowers. She could often be found out in the garden or at an herb group with friends. She was a good friend and could always lend an ear and was always there for the people in her life. She loved to travel and took many trips with her children, grandchildren and friends. She was an active member of her church, and was there every Sunday. Her incredible wit and humor were always a joy to be around and to have a laugh. She will be greatly missed.
