IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Audrey Ann
Thornton
October 19, 1931 – September 5, 2022
Audrey Ann (nee Graham) Oliver Thornton of Maineville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on September 5, 2022.
Audrey was born on October 19, 1931, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Clyde and Louvella (nee Mapes) Graham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved and only son William A. Oliver and her husbands, William Oliver Jr. and Earl Thornton, along with all nine of her siblings, Clyde, Norman, Gene, Russell, Joy, Wilda, Patricia, Ronnie, and Freddie.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Bonnie (Oliver) Ridout and her granddaughters, Lori (Jeff) Kocks and Tricia (Tim) Boucher and her six great-grandchildren, Amber (Colin) Fitzpatrick, Jenna Kocks, Madelyn, Ryan, Carter and Reagan Boucher. Countless extended family and friends. We all love and miss our "Mamaw", and we cannot wait to see her again!
Audrey moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1947 and a few short years later began working with the grocery store Big Bear in the meat department and worked there for over 35 years.
She attended church faithfully and through her many years of service she was a Sunday school teacher, women's missionary board president, assistant superintendent of Sunday school, Awana leader, VBS volunteer (mostly everyone wanted her cookies, they were always a hit), and many more countless acts of service in the 80 years since giving her life to Christ at the age of 12 years old.
After retiring and moving to the greater Cincinnati area in the early 2000's, she met many more friends at her new church and enjoyed going to lunch, playing cards, quilting, sewing circles, being with family as much as possible, cooking, word puzzles and most important to her, doing her daily devotions.
Friends will be received at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 11th, 2022, and the service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland OH 45140.
