Regina Audrey Britt April 16, 1939 December 17, 2015 Regina Audrey Britt, lovingly known as Audrey, resided in Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born on April 16, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she peacefully went to be with her Lord on December 17, 2015 at the age of 76 in Blue Ash, Ohio. Audrey is the beloved daughter of the late Richard Patrick Britt and late Regina (Kern) Britt. Loving sister to Geraldine (Britt) Kuba and loving sister-in-law to Leo "Skippy" Kuba. She is the loving Aunt of Linda Regina Kuba and Douglas Britt (Tamara) Kuba. Douglas was also blessed to have Audrey as his Godmother. Audrey was a very special Great Aunt to Nicholas Britt (her "Nickely B") Chaney, Kelly Kuba (Steven) Conklin, Tyler Joseph Chaney, Joseph Patrick Chaney, Joshua Britt Kuba and Derik Leonidas Kuba. Audrey also leaves behind a plethora of friends from Stepping Stones and Geier Apartments. Her mentor Scott, and her care givers Sadara, Roxanne, Keniya, and Doris. Audrey was born special. While most would consider a handicap, Audrey's knack of story-telling, love of animals, and her passion for different means of art allowed her to be a talented, amazing, accomplished human being and true champion of this world. Audrey loved her dogs, Teddy, Chrissy and April. Audrey learned how to write in cursive, and ensured her dogs name accompanied her signature. She learned how to use a computer. Audrey spent many years working with leather. She attended Stepping Stones and became active in painting and ceramics. She became a successful artist, had art shows, and her artwork was sold. Those lucky enough to have received a wallet, coaster or an Audrey Britt piece of art are beyond blessed. Her knowledge of animals could shame an avid animal lover. She loved old westerns, John Wayne, old radio shows (such as the Green Hornet), Food Network and Animal Planet and stuffed animals. Audrey loved to write and color. She gave back rubs that no one else could compete with. Audrey was a true Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. Her Terrible Towel accompanied her wherever she went. Audrey never knew a stranger, and she greeted everyone with a smile and a story. Once you met Audrey, she considered you a friend. She loved her family and everyone she knew. We could all learn to love, live and be a bit more like Audrey. The void of her art, stories, laughter, stubbornness, ability to change the subject and the love she showered each of us with will forever weigh on our heavy hearts, but we know, for the first time, she is free from any physical or mental limitations, and as she was met by all of her dogs, together they crossed over the rainbow bridge, where she was able to freely dance with joy, as she was reunited, once again, with her Mommy and Daddy. We will miss the laughter and sunshine you cast upon our lives, Audrey Britt. We know how truly blessed we were to be loved by you. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 22 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the Mass to continue the celebration of Audrey's life. Interment will be privately held with family.
