Asa Penquite was born January 28, 1934 to James Everett "J.E." and Blanche (nee Starkey) Penquite and passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 at the age of 80. He was born on his Registered Guernsey Dairy Farm which he worked his whole life. He was also a US Marine and 1952 Class Valedictorian at Blanchester High School and played as a starter on the Blanchester High School Basketball Team. He enjoyed gardening, mowing, working on his computer and watching and taking care of his grandchildren and family. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann (nee Bilderback) Penquite; children, Connie Penquite, Jeff (Joy) Penquite, Rhonda (Aric) Miller and Scott Penquite; and the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren, Cory Penquite, Kelly Penquite, Dakota Penquite, Jacob Miller, Brian Miller and Baylah Arehart; and his aunt Loraine Constable Carey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Eli and Wilson. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM on Sunday September 14, 2014 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W.
