Arthur J. Smith of Loveland.  Beloved husband of Eva L. (nee Cox) Smith.  Loving father of Wayne (Nancy) Smith, James Smith, Diane (Scott) Holtmeyer, and Steve Smith.  Cherished grandfather of Garrett (Jess) Smith, Alexis Moses, Jaylee (David) Gruner, Amanda (Brett) Schrage, Nick (Ashley) Holtmeyer, Timothy (Taylor) Holtmeyer, Sierra Smith, Chase Smith, Savannah Smith, and Cole Gilhaus.  Proud great grandfather of 17 great grandchildren.  Devoted son of the late Charles and Opal Smith.  Dear brother of Jim Smith, Rosie Banner, Zelda Coleman, Mary Lou Brill, Lucille Hand, Harold Smith, and the late Velma Nelson.  Passed away October 26, 2021 at the age of 86.  Arthur had a long distinguished, 32 year career in the United States Airforce retiring at the rank of Chief Master Sargent.  His career with GE in Evendale was for 15 years following his military service. In retirement, he loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with his family.  Private services will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Art may be directed to Wounded Warriors Project click here to donate online .
