Arthur Eugene Villwock, 87, resident of Milford, OH since 2010 and former resident of New Philadelphia, OH, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016 following a short illness. He was born May 26, 1928 in Toledo, OH, a son of the late Robert and Anna Villwock. During High School, Arthur was very active in OCYC (Ohio Christian Youth Council). He received a Bachelor's Degree from Wooster College, a Master's Degree in Theology from The University of Chicago Divinity School in Chicago, Illinois. He was a former Pastor at South Broadway Methodist Church, as well as, other churches in Tuscarawas Co. area. He went on to do social work at Massillon State Hospital. Art was active in the Right to Life organization of Tuscarawas Co., OH. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of New Philadelphia for many years. He loved the Lord, music and the arts. Arthur was the beloved father of Kenneth Arthur (Marie) Villwock, Cynthia Martha (Mark) Cook, and the late John Eugene Villwock; Loving grandfather of eight; great-grandfather of 16; great-great-grandfather of one; Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Villwock. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dr. Mary Katherine (nee Smith) Villwock; Brother, Robert Villwock; Sister, Margaret Villwock. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1pm at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 156 Beaver Ave. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
