Arthur "Art" E Snider of Goshen, OH. Born on August 27, 1927 in Goshen, OH. Passed away on May 29, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Janice "Jan" Lee (nee Klayer) Snider. Loving father of Mark (Susan) Snider, Bruce (Mindi) Snider, April Snider-Maurer and Scott (Diana) Snider. Caring grandfather of Erik Snider, Amy (Bill) Nott, Jordan Cook, Adam Snider, Jonathan Snider, Kristina Maurer, Kelly Maurer, Jimmy Maurer II and Bryan Snider. Proud great-grandfather of Ethan Nott. Dear brother of Barbara Snider and the late Marvin Snider. Cherished son of the late William Emerson and Elsie Norena (nee McHenry) Snider. Uncle of Jennifer Back, Greg, Steve and Ron Snider. Great uncle of Adeline Back. Also survived by many dear friends. Art proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Butlerville Masonic Lodge No. 135 F & AM, the Goshen OES No. 382, the Goshen Historical Society, former Goshen Township Trustee, Goshen High School Alumni Association, the Marine Corps League and the Genealogical Society of Clermont County. Friends will be received from 10 AM - 12 Noon on Wednesday, June 7 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. Butlerville Masonic Lodge No. 135 service will begin at 12 Noon, followed by the Goshen OES No. 382 service and the funeral service. Interment with Marine Corps League military honors at Goshen Cemetery.
