Arnold Cornett of Blanchester, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2023, at the age of 83. Born on October 13, 1940, in Clay County, KY.

He was adored by his wife of 61 years, Thelma (nee Gibson) Cornett. Loving and devoted father of Darlene (Durand) Stevens, Marlene (Chris) Browning, Douglas (Melissa) Cornett and Dwayne (Tonya) Cornett. Caring Pappa of Derrick Browning, Caleb (Ashley) Cornett, Brittany (Jordan) Sharp, Kelly (Blake) Henson, Chelsea (Jerris) Dodson, Ashton Scott, Matthew Cornett and Dakota (Hannah) Cornett. Proud great Pappa of Emerson and Montgomery Long, Landon, Carson and Aspen Henson, Taylor, Arnold Jordan, Leilani, Miley and Noelle Cornett, Kambree, Blaze and Kelikea Dodson, and Pelia Scott. Dear brother of Mary Wilson, Evelyn Strunk, Lorna Madden, Flora Morgan, Amanda Ross, Jannie Dawes, Hiram Cornett Jr., Pryce Cornett and the late Lewis Cornett, Pearl Cornett, Alford Cornett and James Cornett. Cherished son of the late Hiram and Francis (nee Nolan) Cornett. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Arnold was a teacher and principal for 48 years and was dearly loved by all the staff and students. He was a church trustee and sunday school teacher for 50 plus years.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Saturday, December 16 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday.

Interment, Goshen Cemetery.
