Arlene Marie Shanks of Wilmington, beloved wife for 27 years of Doug Shanks, dear mother of Brian (Jessica) Shanks, Aaron Shanks, Heather Shanks, and of the late Christopher Shanks, loving daughter of William Kalb and of the late Janice A. Ernst Kalb, caring sister of William Kalb, Jr., and Sherry (Jason) Steinbeck. Sept. 17, 2008 at age 45.
