Arlene P. Gruenwald, "Truckin' Grandma" (nee Wertz) of Loveland, OH entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Walter H. Gruenwald for 58 years of marriage. Loving mother of Greg Gruenwald of Schaumburg, IL, Gayle Stipe of Mason, OH, Gloria (Jim) Schlotthauer of Union, KY, Gwene (Randy) Daugherty of Loveland, OH, Gina (Todd) Lutz of Loveland, OH, Glenn Gruenwald of Loveland, OH, and the late Gary Gruenwald. Adored grandmother of Jason Gruenwald, Bryant (Lisa) Gruenwald, Chris (Priya) Stipe, Heather Stipe, Max Daugherty, Audrey Daugherty, Emily Daugherty, Austin (Ash) Lutz, Carley Lutz, and Mitchel Lutz. Cherished great grandmother of Mila, Liam and Sienna Stipe. Dear sister of the late Donald (Mary Ann) Wertz.

Arlene's life was filled with faith, family, and friends. Early in her life she was a social worker. When she ended that career professionally, she did not end it personally. Arlene had the unique ability to continue to guide and advise people throughout her life. Arlene lived by example through her tremendous faith and love of family. She had a true interest in everyone she met and instantly made them feel like family. She has had an immense impact on the lives of so many. She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial, open to friends and family, will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 24 at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, OH 45140. Private burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery.
