Arden Virgina (nee Brock) Yakimow of Loveland. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Yakimow. Mother of Karla (Larry) Adams. Grandmother of Megan Flexner. Great grandmother of Hunter Boldt. Step-mother of Susan (Gary) Brose, Kevin, Candice and Stephen (Karin) Yakimow. Dear sister of Jerry (Jennylou) Brock and Janet (Roger) Beller. Daughter of the late Stanton and Virginia Brock. Passed away December 4, 2014 at age 83. Arden was ordained as a Presbyterian Minister in 1958 at Loveland Presbyterian Church - the fifth female in the country and second female the Cincinnati Presbytery. She later served as a United Church of Christ minister in California and Cincinnati, including a Chaplain at Riverview Retirement Community. A celebration of life service will be held at Loveland Presbyterian Church, 360 Robin Ave, Loveland, OH 45140, on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 2 PM where friends will be received from 1 PM until the time of the memorial service.
