Larrick
August 19, 1929 – December 18, 2025
Anna Lucille Florea Larrick of Wilmington, Ohio, handmaiden of the LORD and Christian Pilgrim, reached the Celestial City on December 18, 2025, after her journey of 96 years. She was born on August 19, 1929, in Midland, Ohio.
Mrs. Larrick was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Larrick; parents, Alpha and Mary Florea; grandson, Jordan G. Larrick; and sisters Mildred Currie of Franklin, Ohio, and Carolyn Casson of New Port Richey, Florida.
Ann is survived by a sister, Nora Florea of Dothan, Alabama, three children, Lynda C. Larrick (fiancé Dr. David Brown), Dana M.Larrick, and Monte M. Larrick (Miriam E). Larrick; grandchildren, Camielle L. (Robert) Holcombe and Carleigh G. (Tommy) Cox; great-grandsons, Elijah Holcombe and James Holcombe; nephew Ken Larrick and eight other nephews and eight nieces.
Mrs. Larrick graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Ohio and played trumpet in the school's marching band.
At age 14, she took flying lessons.
Her 77-year marriage to Carl Larrick began on July,27,1946. The couple joined First Baptist Church in Blanchester, Ohio in 1960. During her membership at First Baptist, Mrs. Larrick sang in the church choir, was a trumpet soloist, Sunday school and Vacation Bible school teacher, as well as church librarian. She and her husband Carl, frequently hosted missionaries in their home.
Mrs. Larrick owned two beauty salons and worked at another. She was also employed at the Peanut Tree consignment store in Wilmington, Ohio.
Ann was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as a member of the First Families of Clinton County. She was an expert family genealogist and a contributor to the Midland Village Voice Magazine.
She helped secure city water for her community and was instrumental in improving local traffic safety.
Ann was an avid reader, loved to travel, and refurbish antiques.
Among her final words: "All glory to GOD."

A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Westboro Cemetery, Westboro, Ohio. The public is invited to attend.
