Anna R. Highlander, 87, of Midland, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. Born on March 21, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Arthur and Mattie (nee Roach) Dinkins. Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Highland; sons, Gary Highlander and Michael Highlander; two brothers; five sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Haygood and Patty Buchanan; grandchildren, Amy Smith, Jason Highlander, Brian Highlander, Anna Highlander, Wendy Hill, Joseph Haygood, Tony Buchanan, and Bryan Buchanan; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Highlander; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, where friends will gather from 3:30pm until the time of service.
