Anna M. Dickerson (nee Trauth), age 96, of Morrow, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 17, 2024. Born on December 28, 1927, in Newport, Kentucky, Ann lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and her faith.

Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Art Dickerson; her parents, Rose and Leo Trauth; her brother, Leo Trauth Jr.; her sister, Sr. Mary Philip of the Sisters of Notre Dame (Covington, KY); her daughter, Rose Suchanek (Sam); and her son, Art Dickerson.

She is survived by her son Lee Dickerson (Judi); her grandchildren Samara Suchanek, Steve Suchanek, Linda Dickerson, Chris Dickerson (Christy), Melony Arnold, and Mike Arnold (Karen); and her great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

Anna loved her family dearly and was a faithful servant of Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was an active member of St. Bernard Church in Dayton where for numerous years she served as Secretary of the Senior Saints Club planning and organizing activities for the 55 & over members.

She spent many joyful hours playing cards with her friends, building lasting memories and friendships. Though not much of a joke teller herself, she loved to hear them, and her husband (Art) loved to tell them.

Her strong, determined spirit, her love for Jesus, and her dedication to her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services will be held at St. Bernard Church (Dayton, KY) on 10/11/2024 at 6:00p.m., where family and friends are welcome to gather in remembrance of a life beautifully lived.
