Anna D. "Mable" (Akers) Parker of Alexandria, KY., formerly of Wilmington, OH. and Goshen, OH. Born on August 2, 1937 in Fayetteville, WV. Died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the age of 76. Loving mother of Rita (Rick Fancote) Parker, Chuck (Andrea) Parker and the late June Mays. Caring mother-in-law of Willie Mays. Proud grandmother of Anna Banta, Steve Parker, DeeDee Fancote, Tori Furguson, Jason Parker, Chris Parker, Ricky Fancote, Deana Mays and Morgan Mays. Devoted great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bud Akers, Pete Akers, Gennevieve Akers Dome, Ira Akers, Benny Akers, Joe Akers, Nina Medford and the late Pearl Rogers, Roscoe Akers and Della Lovins. Cherished daughter of the late Bedo and Frances (Gallimore) Akers. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Visitation will be held at Christian Apostolic Church, 5688 E. Day Cir., Milford, on Saturday, Jan. 4, 1 PM to 3 PM, with a memorial service at 3 PM. Rev. Donald Cox of Christian Apostolic Church will be the presiding minister for Mable's services.
