K. Ann Penquite, age 80, of Blanchester, passed away peacefully Friday morning, April 29, 2022 at Continental Manor in Blanchester. Ann was born July 24, 1941, to Edward and Nina (Lowman) Bilderback. She was a 1959 graduate of Blanchester High School. She married Asa H. Penquite on November 5, 1961. They worked together on the family Registered Guernsey Dairy Farm. She also worked in the deli at Blanchester IGA for 21 ½ years then in the deli at Blanchester Save-a-Lot for another 5 years. She never met a stranger. She loved going to the fairs, taking vacations with a special cousin and going to school events and sporting events for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She absolutely loved Christmas and celebrated the season for 3 months. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. Ann is survived by her children, Connie Penquite, Jeff (Joy) Penquite, Rhonda (Aric) Miller and Scott Penquite, her grandchildren Cory (Brooke) Penquite, Kelly (Baylah) Penquite, Dakota Penquite, Jacob Miller and Brian Miller, also her great grandchildren Weston Asa Penquite, Acie Ann Penquite and Nora Grace Penquite due to arrive in early July and special cousins and several close friends. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband Asa H. Penquite on September 10, 2014. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main Street, Blanchester, OH 45107 The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Funeral Home with burial at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ruth Lyons Children's Fund, P.O. Box 59, Cincinnati, Ohio 45201 (memo line – in memory of Ann Penquite) or checks payable to Clinton County 4-H Endowment and mail to the Clinton County OSU Extension Office, 111 S. Nelson Avenue #2, Wilmington, OH 45177 (memo line – in memory of Ann Penquite). The family would like to thank the staff of Continental Manor and Queen City Hospice for the wonderful care and to all who have been there for us with their support and prayers.
