Anita Stanley

Anita (Mullins) Stanley of Goshen, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born on May 10, 1942, in Clintwood, Virginia, Anita was the cherished daughter of the late Glen and Becky (Cantrell) Mullins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Stanley; her brother, Carl Mullins; and her sister, Jane Meade.

Anita was the beloved wife of Avon Stanley and a devoted mother to Chris Stanley, Cheryle (Chuck) Radeke, and Greg (Sarah) Stanley. She was a loving Mamaw to Ellen (Garrett) Mullins, Emily Stanley, Morgan (Seth) Eastham, Matthew Radeke, Rebecca Stanley, Hannah Meddings, and Amber (Patrick) O'Sheal. She was also a proud Great-Mamaw to Noah, Henry, Theo, Aspen, Sadie, Blakeley, Seth Jr., and Cillian.

She was a devoted aunt to Scott (Paula) Stanley, Kevin (Lena) Meade, Barry (Johanna) Meade, and Bryan (Kristi) Meade. Anita is also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, faith, and love.

Family and friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio.

Interment will take place at Levi Cantrell Cemetery in Pound, Virginia.

Anita's legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family will be treasured and remembered by all who knew her.
