Celebrating a life well lived. As a devoted wife, loving mother, attentive grandmother and proud great grandmother, Angela Pottebaum Buehler lived as a lighthouse of faith. By consistently executing a simple plan of daily prayer, spiritual serenity and commitment to family, Angie found the recipe to a joyful life. As a teacher for 15 years at St. Saviour Elementary School, Angie educated hundreds of children academically and morally. During her 34 years as a member of Hyde Park Country Club, Angie was a respected friend who captivated with her sharp intellect, smile and comforting presence. She was also a good golfer and bowler. After a lifetime of Catholic Church attendance at All Saints and Good Shepherd, Angie and her husband, Jim, became an inspirational example of the power of a faith-filled marriage. When not working her well worn rosary and praying for others, Angie could be found mastering jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku and crosswords. As an excitable fan of the Xavier Musketeers, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, Angie spent hours in the stands, or in her favorite recliner, willing her hometown teams to victory.

Cherished grandmother of Matt (Sarah) Becker, Michael (Arianna) Becker, Chris (Katie) Becker, T.J. (Cliona) Catino, Vince (Lauren) Catino, Mitch (Jennifer) Catino, James (Rachel) Buehler, III, Kevin (Abigail) Buehler, Spencer (Caitlin) Buehler, Joe (Kaelyn) Buehler, Jr., Katelin (Kyle) Heidel, Nick (Maria) Buehler, Jake Peddicord, and Allie Peddicord. Proud great grandmother of Ava, Evan & Gavin Becker, Weston & Sofia Becker, Jack & Knox Becker, Lillian, Saoirse & Theo Catino, Remy & Calvin Catino, Gia Catino, James Buehler IV, Tripp, Henry & George Buehler, and Harper, Brooklyn & Charlie Heidel. Preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. Passed away October 9, 2023 at the age of 88.

Family and friends will be received from 11 AM - 12 PM on Friday, October 13 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angela may be directed to Pregnancy Center East or Xavier University.
