IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alvin Marvin
Williams
January 17, 1957 – January 27, 2023
Alvin Marvin Williams was born in Castleberry, Ala., January 17, 1957. He and his brother, Anthony, liked swimming and fishing in Panther Creek with their cousins, Lawrence Foster and Robert E. Moye, during the summers. He came to Cincinnati at three years of age and went to Kennedy Elementary, Shroder Junior High, and Woodward High School, Home of the Bulldogs! He did woodworking, art, and gymnastics. He was written up in the Cincinnati Post for his African Art. He excelled in his studies at Woodward, making the honor roll. Alvin went into the Air Force, where he was stationed in Denver, CO; Pusan, South Korea; Plattsburg, NY. He came home with a car that looked like it could fly! It was a green Bricklin. He worked. He partied. He lived, and then he got ill for over 20 years. He fought the good fight. Well done, Brother!
Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph S. and E'Von Williams; brother, Anthony J. Williams; sister, Kathryn A. Lane; and cousin, Lawrence Foster. He is survived by his sister, Karen D. Morgan of Cincinnati, OH, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and aunts in Toledo, Ohio and family in Alabama as well.
