Alvia Mae (nee Carney) Roberts of Goshen, OH. Passed away after a long battle with breast and brain cancer on January 29, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on February 7, 1962, in Marietta, GA.

Beloved wife of 43 years to Darrell Roberts. Loving mother of Rebecca (Marcus) Hancock. Proud grandmother of Corrine Hancock and Conner Hancock. Dear sister of Nancy Fae Riley, John Carney and the late Mildred Richards. Best friend and sister of Laura Norris. Cherished daughter of the late Troy Richards and Nancy Carney. Also survived by 7 half brothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Alvia loved gardening, crocheting, spending time in West Virginia and with her grandkids.

Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life from 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 7 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.
