Alma Keeton of Cincinnati Wife of the late Ormont "Monti" Coffman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of David and Sally Coffman. Devoted grandmother of Kim Coffman. Dear Aunt of Sue Coffman. Alma Keeton Coffman, October 8, 1914, February 10, 2013. Alma is survived by her son, David; his wife Sally (nee Bain) Coffman; their daughter Kim; her niece Sue Coffman; and her loving dog Annie. Alma was born in Morehead, Kentucky to the union of Tomsie Aufrey and Willie Keeton. In the early 1920'sTomsie and Alma moved to Loveland, Ohio to live withTomsie's sister on the Tabor farm, now known as Grailville. Growing up, Alma attended Loveland High School and at her passing was the high school's oldest living alumna. During her high school years she enjoyed the attention of the handsome, athletic Monte Coffman whom she married in 1937. That relationship lasted 53 years, ended only by Monte's passing in December of 1990. They had one child, their son, David. Socially active throughout her life, Alma enjoyed membership in the Loveland Women's Club, and Cincinnati and Terrace Park Country Clubs. She was also a licensed real estate broker. After Monte's death Alma continued to live in their Indian Hill home with her dogs Rudy and Annie until September when she took up residence in the Brookdale Senior Living Center. Known there as "Miss Alma" she enjoyed the company of the residents and the wonderful staff. She lived 98 years in good health with good friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Alma's memory may be made to MariElders or a charity of your choice. Services will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland Monday February 18th at 6:00pm, where friends will be received 4:00pm until the hour of service.
