Alice V. (nee Baumgarten) Jones of Pleasant Plain, OH. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Walter Jones. Alice was born November 15, 1922 in Durbin, North Dakota and died January 1, 2016 at age 93. Alice and Ralph were married for 66 years. Loving mother of Andrea (Jerry) Breen, Daniel (Lynn) Jones and Craig (Cheryl) Jones. Dear grandmother of Ann-Marie (Tim) McMullan, Derek (Brittany), Kelly, Kristen and Lauren Jones. Cherished Great-Meemaw of Quinn and Rowan McMullan and great-grandmother of Hailey and Claire Jones. Sister of Clark (Phyllis) Baumgarten of Casselton, ND. Preceded in death by her parents Ewald and Hildur (nee Erickson) Baumgarten and sister Lois (Wayne) Harness. Also survived by 6 nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Alice was a treasurer of Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church for 17 years, a trustee for several years and a church elder for 7 years. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 8, 2016, 6 - 8 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, OH. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 10 AM at Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church, 10198 St. Rt. 132, Pleasant Plain, OH. Pastor Kevin Waters officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alice's honor to the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
