Alice L. Nagle, age 95, of Madison, Indiana, died Sunday, October 20, 2019. Alice was born 25 May 1924 in Norwood, Ohio to Albert (Bert) and Margret (Peggy) Liddy. Alice was raised in the Norwood area, and attended Norwood public schools for all 12 years of primary and secondary education. She worked for the Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company for 25 years holding various positions at various locations. She retired from Cincinnati Bell as Manager of the Traffic Department. Alice resided in various locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area including: Norwood, Delhi, Reading, Loveland, Covington, and finally settling in Madison, IN for her retirement years. She was an active member of Our Lady of Sacred Heart, Saint Columban, Mother of God, and Prince of Peace parishes. An avid bridge player, Alice enjoyed swimming (in her younger years), socializing, cooking, gardening, and travel. Her parents, husband Richard Nagle and, youngest daughter Peggy Thiergartner preceded her in death. Alice is survived by three sons: Rick Nagle, Whitefish, MT; Rusty Nagle, Madison, IN; Bob Nagle, Toledo OH; daughter Robin Holman, Boynton Beach FL; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Montgomery, OH.
