IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alex David
Farren
December 12, 1991 – February 15, 2023
Alex David Farren of Loveland, Ohio. Beloved son of David & Karen Farren. Loving brother of Carissa & Brian Caprio and Samuel Farren. Blessed to be an uncle to Cora, Charlee, and Caroline. Cherished grandson of Val & Margaret Farren and Jack & Shirley Werst. Devoted nephew to Kevin & Tricia Werst, Amy & Ryan Longstreth, Laura & Michael Huff, and John & Pammi Farren. Dear great nephew of Jim & Ginnie Gaskill. Proud cousin of Jocelyn & Ceron Warfield, Sara Werst, Matthew & Stella Werst, Lauren Werst, Jonathan Werst, Max Longstreth, Drew Longstreth, Adam Huff, Aaron Huff, Amalia Warfield, Oliver Werst and Cameron Werst. Passed away February 15, 2023 at the age of 31.
Alex received his associates degree in electronic media from UC and his bachelor's degree in communications from LSU. Alex loved music and was self-taught in classical piano. He composed numerous songs. He loved sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. He also loved photography and the outdoors. His favorite places to hike and take pictures were Sedona, AZ and Kisatchie National Forest in Alexandria, LA. Alex had an awesome sense of humor and enjoyed comedy. He even had a go at stand up comedy during amateur night at Go Bananas.
Alex had a compassionate heart and was a friend to the friendless. He frequently talked to the homeless on the streets of Covington, KY and downtown Cincinnati. Alex gave the ultimate gift of life through organ donation; recipients were found for his lungs, kidneys and tissue.
Alex loved research and spent countless hours at the Cincinnati Public Library studying history and psychology. He was the quarterback for the Mason High School football team. Alex's love for piano playing and football were intimately linked through a football injury that resulted in a broken wrist. He taught himself how to play classical piano in order to promote blood flow to his wrist and aid in the healing process.
As a young boy, Alex loved Cinnabon, Skyline Chili, and Montgomery Inn.
