Albert David Shope "Pappy", 73, of Clarksville, passed away July 3, 2013. David was born on October 17, 1939 in West Carrollton, Ohio, a son of the late Charles A. Shope and Mary Ellen (nee Montgomery) Shope. David was the devoted husband of Patty (nee Sanderson) Shope for nearly 55 years. The loving father of David C. Shope, Carlynda Shope McLeroy, Charles Allen (Judy) Shope, Thomas Clayton Shope, and Catrina Ellen (Steve) Green. The proud Grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Brother to Thomas G. (Gail) Shope. Memorial Services will be held on July 7, 2013 from 2-3PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1224 S State Route 133, Blanchester, OH 45107. Continued food and fellowship following services will take place at the family's farm, 5485 Fischer Rd. Clarksville, OH 45113.
