Albert Daniel (Dan) Ledford of Loveland Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 97. He was born on March 17, 1929, to Albert S. and Ruble (Cole) Ledford in Norwood, Ohio.

Dan was the beloved Husband of Ruth (Mitchell) Ledford with whom he shared 75 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Glenn Daniel (Colette) Ledford, Cynthia Ruth McFarland, and Jonathan David (Pamela) Ledford. Proud grandfather of Andrea (Ryan) Blevins, Emily (Scott) Smith, Philip (Elizabeth) Ledford, Joshua (Sara) McFarland, Samuel (Christy) McFarland, Mitchell McFarland, Sarah (Danny) Barker, Heather (Scott) Jettinghoff, and the late Benjamin Ledford. Great grandfather of 16 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Sandra Gail (Don) Lynn and the late Helen Marie (Merrill) Thomas.

Dan served in the Army from 1951-1953. After his military service, he became an apprentice pattern maker. Dan started GeoTech Pattern & Mold in 1979 and was active in the business into his eighties. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Dan also enjoyed restoring antique cars and Willy's Jeeps. His other hobbies included collecting and shooting guns, reloading ammo, and hunting. Dan will also be remembered for his sense of humor.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 10 from 10-11 AM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
