Alan Charles Barker of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 78. Alan was born on February 15, 1948, in Staten Island, NY. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Sheryl (nee Scarberry) Yeager, loving father of Chad Yeager, Ryan (Lori) Yeager and Jessica Barker, proud grandpa of Keaton and Rowan, dear brother of David (Cathie) Barker, caring brother-in-law of Blane (Regina) Scarberry. Also survived by many dear friends. 

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Augustus Barker and Elizabeth (nee Ortiz) Barker. 

Alan graduated from Wagner College in Grymes Hill, Staten Island, New York, and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. A lifelong aviation enthusiast, he earned his pilot's license and enjoyed flying his private planes for more than 45 years. Alan built a successful career as a chemical engineer, working with several companies throughout the world. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and found great joy in golfing, boating, and spending time with his family. Among his many treasured accomplishments was recording a hole-in-one at Stonelick Hills Golf Club, a memory he cherished and proudly shared with family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.
