IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Agnes C.
Smith
November 24, 1935 – September 2, 2022
Agnes C. Smith (nee Holtke), Beloved wife of 67 years to Ralph Smith. Loving mother of Greg (Marlene) Smith, Rita (Steve) Meyer, Glenn (Beth) Smith, and the late Robert "Bobby" Smith. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Sara) Meyer, David Smith, Eric (Melody) Riggs, Kristin Miller, Megan (Drew) Ellis, Daniel (Raquel) Meyer, Robbie Smith, Nathan Meyer and Nicki (Travis) Philpot. Great grandmother of 13. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law to Joyce (Ted) Stevens, Mary Lou Smith and Janis Smith. Preceded in death by her parents Henry J. and Natalie M. Holtke, her three sisters Joan (Bill) Bryant, Dorothy (Jerry) DeBord, Carol (George) Kincaid and her sibling-in-laws Douglas (Linda) Smith, Barney Hizar, and Russell Smith.
Agnes was a special woman with a heart of gold. She was patient and kind and had a caring and compassionate heart to help others. Upon graduation from Loveland High School, she worked in the office of General Electric in Evendale until becoming a full-time homemaker caring for her four children. Her youngest son Bobby was a special needs child from birth, and Agnes lovingly cared for him full-time until his passing at the age of 33. Afterward, Agnes worked at Montgomery Care Center for 10 years as the activities coordinator for the seniors – Agnes always had a servant's heart, and this job gave her great satisfaction in bringing joy to those in the latter stages of life. Agnes passed away peacefully at home Friday, September 2, 2022 at the age of 86.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 9 from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 10 AM, Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
Donations, in Agnes' memory, may be made to Fellowship of Praise Church, 8625 E. US 22, Clarksville, OH 45113.
