MORTENSEN Adele (nee McClaren) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late James Robert (JR) Mortensen. Loving mother of Len W. (Judi), Robert P. (Sharon) and Dr.Joel E. (Sandy). Caring grandmother of Eric, Matthew, William, Gabriel, James Robert, Luke, Jesse, Katherine, Lydia, Jon, and Jacob. Caring sister of Sarah Youngblood. Cherished daughter of the late Robert Lowell McClarren and Laura (nee Tusing) McClarren. Adele was born in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. She graduated from Ohio Weselyan University and served as an educator with the Nordonia Hills, Avon Lake and Etna School Systems and ended her career at Redeemer Christian School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Cuyahoga Falls and its Wesley Class. She was a member of the Chapter CS-P.E.O., Akron Area Home Economics (GAHEA), Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Cuyahoga Falls and Historical Societies, Summit Country Retired Teachers. She was an active volunteer at the Akron Zoo. A memorial Service will also be held in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on January 17, 2009.
