Aaron Clay Flora, Jr., 77, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away suddenly on November 17, 2019. Born on September 25, 1942 in Piqua, Ohio, son of Aaron C. and Margaret Flora. He was the co-owner along with his brother Mark Flora of Flora Petroleum. Clay enjoyed auto racing, going to the casinos, playing cards, watching the Cincinnati Reds, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends . Clay was the beloved husband of 48 years to Lillian Flora; loving father of Kim (the late Steve) Bates, Kenny (Tiffany) Flora, Craig Flora, Beth (Mike) Lawrence, and Lisa (Dereck) Allen; proud grandfather of Madylin Bates, Sophie Bates, Mikey Lawrence, Chelsea Lawrence, Logan Lawrence, Meghan Lawrence, Taylor Lawrence, Samantha Flora, Shaylee Allen, Piper Allen, and Devin Allen; dear brother "Butch" of Mark Flora, Becky Gall, Kathy Cornell, Karen Adams, and Karol Robinson. Along with his parents, Clay was preceded in death by his dog, Jethro. Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the funeral home beginning at 10am. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
