IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louie James "Jim"
Boude
June 1, 1935 – December 7, 2025
With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of Louie James "Jim" Boude on December 7, 2025. As many know, Jim was a retiree of GE Aviation where he dedicated 35+ years of his life. He was an active member at Ascension and Holy Trinity Church as well as St. Timothy's on Beechmont Avenue and most recently, St. Barnabas on Montgomery Road. He enjoyed being involved in the different congregations and had a strong faith. In his free time, he dedicated many years to Scouting, a real passion of his. Jim loved fly fishing and tying flies. He was also involved in the Buckeye United Fly Fishers Club for several years. Of course we would be remiss not to mention his love of watching The Ohio State Buckeye Football games as well as the Cincinnati Reds.
Jim was a loving husband to his most recent wife, Nancy Lee Boude. Beloved father of Anthony (Caryn) Boude, Sarah (Chad) Thompson, Susan (Brian) Gilmore, and the late Jeffery Boude. Caring Papa of Joshua Dinkelaker, Aidan & Noah Hymes, Meredith Gilmore, Alyssa, Logan, Lucas and Avery Thompson, Alissa (John) Lodge, Jason (Devin) Johnson, and Kelsey Boude. Cherished Great-Papa of Peyton Gilmore, Kaylee, Emily and Elizabeth Lodge, and Aurora Johnson. Dear brother of the late Thomas Boude. Beloved son of the late Louie and Lillian Boude. Jim is also preceded in death by his former spouses Jeanette "Lynne" Boude and Patricia Boude.
We are asking that In lieu of flowers, please donate in Jim's memory to the Buckeye United Fly Fishers Club C/O Jim Boude Memorial, P.O. BOX 498911, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
Celebration of life services for Jim will be held on Sunday, December 28th at 2 pm at Ascension and Holy Trinity Church located at 334 Burns Avenue, Wyoming, OH 45215. Internment of Jim's Ashes will follow the service in the Memorial Garden at Ascension and Holy Trinity. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall at the church.
In honor of Jim, we ask that everyone please wear something red to the celebration as that was his favorite color.
