Larry Sr. has been a life long resident of Loveland. He graduated from Loveland High School and continued his education where he graduated from Xavier University with a BSBA degree. He furthered his education with post graduate degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is married to Carol Ann (nee Grainger) Schildmeyer and has a son Larry Schildmeyer Jr. and his wife Kim (nee Crosno) Schildmeyer. He is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He additionally is licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance for writing for life insurance for those families who need to pay for their funerals in advance. He is a member of the Good Shepherd Parish in Montgomery and is also involved with Emory Lodge #258 F & AM. He is involved with the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Selected Independent Funeral Homes and the National Funeral Directors Association. In the winter, you may see him sitting and watching high school basketball games on Tuesday or Friday nights where he helps Tim Partin and the Loveland High School basketball program in scouting their future opponents. Terry is fifth generation owner and funeral director of Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Homes. Terry serves as Chief Operating Officer of Tufts Schildmeyer. Terry is a lifelong resident of Loveland where he and his wife Margaret "Peggy" reside today with their two children: Margaret "Maggie" and Terrence and their two dogs: Molly and Daisy. Terry graduated from Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller High School and then went on to Xavier University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After his graduation from Xavier, Terry continued his studies at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science. Terry is an active member of OFDA, OEA, NFDA, CANA, Selected Independent Funeral Homes and is a member of the St. Columban Catholic Church in Loveland. Terry currently serves as a board member on the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department and the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Emery Lodge #258 F&AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati. Terry also is an active member of the St. Columban Bobcat booster club, Ursuline Academy Dad's Club and Moeller Alumni Association. In his spare time, Terry coaches the St. Columban Bobcats in football and basketball where he serves as assistant football operations coordinator of St. Columban Bobcat Football. Along with being a dad and husband and doing things with his family, Terry enjoys playing golf and volleyball. He also enjoys fishing, boating, coaching youth sports and working outdoors. Terry also enjoys attending Reds and Bengals games and is an avid Xavier Musketeer Basketball Fan.

Larry is sixth generation funeral director of Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Homes. Today, he currently serves as Vice President of Tufts Schildmeyer. Larry graduated from Loveland High School in 1999. In 2003, Larry received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing from Miami University in Oxford. After college, Larry entered his family business in the spring of 2003 and has been a licensed funeral director with the State of Ohio since 2005. Larry is a Notary Public of the State of Ohio, Kentucky Colonel honoree, Licensed by the Department of Insurance of Ohio, active member with Selected Independent Funeral Homes, member of NFDA and OFDA. Larry currently resides in Maineville with his wife Kimberly where they enjoy traveling. In his spare time, Larry enjoys working out, playing all sports and also is a Miami Redhawk sports enthusiast.

Robert P. Schildmeyer
With over half of a century of funeral service, Bob is a retired funeral director with State of Ohio. As fourth generation owner, Bob received his 50 year recognition from the Ohio Funeral Directors Association for his dedication and service to the community. Bob is an active member with the OFDA, NFDA and Selected Independent Funeral Homes. Bob has been a resident of Loveland for nearly all of his life helping people in need. Bob served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII and is a life member of the American Legion Post #0888. He is a member of the St. Columban Catholic Church in Loveland. Bob was a former vice mayor of the City of Loveland, former member of the Old Loveland Kiwanis Club and former board member of the Loveland Historical Society. Bob enjoys family, grandchildren, mowing grass, yard beautification and traveling.

Marilyn Tufts Schildmeyer
Daughter of the late Lawrence Tufts (third generation owner) has been a lifelong resident of Loveland. Marilyn currently resides in Loveland and Ormond Beach, FL with her husband Robert “Bob” Schildmeyer (fourth generation owner). Marilyn is a graduate of St. Columban School, Loveland High School and the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. She has a certified teaching degree in Piano and Organ. She is active with the St. Columban and St. Brendan’s (Ormond Beach, FL) Catholic Churches and was Past President and current member of the Loveland Women’s Club. She is also a member of the Loveland Historical Society. Occasionally, you will find Marilyn playing the organ in the funeral home for funerals or the Memorial Day services at the Veterans Park in Loveland. She enjoys gardening and growing flowers, traveling, old pops music and attending music theater.

After graduating from Middletown High School in 1972 and Miami University in 1976, John attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science. Upon his graduation, John began employment at Tufts Schildmeyer in 1979 as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with the State of Ohio. In his early years, John was manager of the Blanchester funeral home. John now is currently the manager of the Loveland funeral home. John is a resident of the Hamilton area with his wife Kathy and two daughters Lindsey and Courtney. John is a member of the Ohio Embalmers Association, Fithian Lodge #373 I.O.O.F., Loyal Order of Moose #36, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie Lodge #407 and Loveland Emery Lodge #258 F & AM.

A graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1995, Jarrod is a licensed embalmer and funeral director with the state of Ohio. Originally from the McConnelsville, Ohio area, Jarrod graduated from Morgan High School in 1991. He currently resides in Maineville with his wife Michelle. Jarrod has been honored as a Kentucky Colonel and also is a member of the Loveland Emery Lodge #258 F & AM. In his spare time, Jarrod enjoys playing golf.

A recent graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2006, Julie is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with the State of Ohio. Julie is originally from Defiance, Ohio and a graduate of Ayersville High School in 2003 where she was Valedictorian. Julie is a member of the Good Shepherd Parish in Montgomery, where she is a 3rd grade Religious Education Teacher. She also is a honorable Kentucky Colonel. Julie currently lives in Loveland and enjoys going to Notre Dame Football games and visiting with her family.

Kelly is formerly from Toledo, Ohio. Prior to college Kelly graduated from the St. Ursula Academy in Toledo in 2003. Kelly is a 2007 graduate from John Carroll University where she majored in communications. She continued her education at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where she graduated in the Fall of 2008. Kelly is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with the State of Ohio. Kelly is an assistant 3rd grade cheerleading coach for St. Columban. Kelly enjoys traveling, visiting with her family and spending time with her dog, Boo!

After graduating from Moeller High School in 1981, Tim pursued a career in education at the University of Dayton. Upon his graduation in 1985, Tim attended the United States Sports Academy where he obtained his Masters Degree in Sports Science in 1987. After a successful playing and coaching career in football, Tim pursued his aspirations of becoming a funeral director. A graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1997, Tim is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with the State of Ohio. Tim, who lives in Loveland has been with Tufts Schildmeyer since 1996 and currently is the Goshen funeral home manager. Tim enjoys spending time with his daughter, Kristin in his free time. Tim is a member of the Good Shepherd Parish in Montgomery, an OFDA and NFDA member, Goshen Chamber of Commerce member and active in the Autograph Collectors, Precious Moments and Disney Movie Clubs. He is also a member of the Cincinnati Zoo and Museum Center.

Mark is a 1985 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he obtained his degree to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Ohio. Before attending mortuary school mark graduated from Amelia High School in 1972 and after high school decided to go into the US Army for 2 years. After his return from the Army, he attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated in 1978. Mark is active with the OFDA and Ohio Embalmers Association and also is a parishioner at the St. Columban Catholic Church where he was a former pastoral parish council member and currently serves as an Eucharistic minister. Mark currently resides in Loveland with his wife Theresa and has two children: Mark Jr. and Meredith. Outside of work, Mark is a musician who loves to play the drums and percussion. Presently, he is playing with the Bromwell-Diehl Band who has released 3 CD’s and the Sorry Charlie II Band.

Jim has been employed at Tufts Schildmeyer since 1998, where he serves as the Blanchester location manager. Jim is a licensed funeral director with the State of Ohio. Jim was a graduate of Purcell Marion High School and attended the Athenaeum of Ohio, Xavier University & Chatfield College. He obtained is Bachelors Degree in Theology from Athenaeum of Ohio. Jim was a priest for several years before pursuing a ministry in the funeral industry. Jim currently lives in Lynchburg with his wife Cecilia where they have four adult sons and two grandsons. He is actively involved in the Blanchester Chamber of Commerce, the Blanchester Downtown Revitalization Committee and the Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County. Jim enjoys spending time with his grandsons, traveling and camping with his family, woodworking and farming.

He continued his education at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science graduating in the spring of 2010.

Tracy began employment at Tufts Schildmeyer following her graduation from Clermont Northeastern School in 1999. Tracy oversees the daily operations of the office and currently the Office Manager. Tracy and her husband Trevor reside in Owensville and are the proud parents of their son, Hunter who was born August 8, 2008.

Linda began employment at Tufts Schildmeyer in January of 2006. She currently serves as an administrative assistant and is in charge of the daily office operations. Linda graduated from Loveland High School in 1977. She is a resident of Loveland and lives with her husband Gene. She has five children: Kendra, Bethany, Valerie, Chelsea and Ethan; four grandchildren: Harrison, Hayden, Hudson and Jerrah Lynn. In her free time, Linda's favorite thing to do is playing games and cards with family and friends. She also enjoys camping and hiking, cooking, sewing, quilting and crafting.

Tina graduated from Goshen High School and has been a resident of Goshen since 1972. She has been employed with Tufts Schildmeyer since 2001 as an administrative and funeral director assistant. She is an active member with the House of Restoration Church in Milford where she plays the piano, sings and is also a choir member. She also is very active in the nursing home and hospital ministry. Tina and her husband Jeff reside in Goshen and have one daughter Rachel and two grandchildren Isaac and Hannah. Tina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, singing and playing the piano and the Ohio State Buckeyes!

Dee has been a lifelong resident of Goshen. Dee has been employed with Tufts Schildmeyer since 2000, where currently he is in charge of the daily Crematory operations. Dee served on the Goshen Fire Department as a volunteer for 13 years. Dee and his wife Judy like to spend time with their three children: Jesse, Jennifer and Joni and their 6 grandchildren. Dee enjoys attending Bluegrass music concerts and festivals and attending various flea markets.

Mark began employment at Tufts Schildmeyer in 2008 and is in charge of all maintenance for each funeral home location. Mark lives in Loveland with his wife Candice and has two children: Ian and Sarah. Mark is a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Loveland and is also involved in the Ohio Valley Military Society. In his free time Mark enjoys riding motorcycles, music and all history.

Earl recently moved to Loveland from Sprinfield, IL. He began working for Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Oct. 2009. Earl and his wife Janet have five children and six grandchildren. Earl loves spending time with his family, walking, and going to garage sales. Earl retired from the US Air Force after 23 years as an aircraft electrician. He and Janet and granddaughter Mikkaila attend River Hills Christian Center.

Jim is originally from Athens, Ohio. He is a graduate of Ohio University and Ohio State University. Jim spent 20 years in the US Army as an Optometrist. He retired in 1986 as a Major. He spent another 16 years in Cincinnati as a civilian Optometrist before retiring a second time.
Jim and Joyce live in Miami Township and enjoy walking, cruising and traveling.

Rev. Earl R. Jackson joined the staff at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Homes in July 2005 where considers his part time work an extension of his pastoral ministry. Earl is the full time pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio, where he has served for 49 years. He is an experienced grief counselor and has worked with many families prior to and during the death of loved ones. Beyond elementary and high school education, Earl holds degrees in; Doctor of Theology (ThD), Honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.), Mastor of Theology (Mth), Bachelor of Theology (Thb) and Master of English Bible (Meb). He and his wife Irma have been happily married for since 1951 and have 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Phil has been with Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home since 2006 where he has assisted with all three locations in all aspects of funeral service. He is married to Lynda where they reside in Loveland. They have two children and five grandchildren. They attend the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Loveland. Phil graduated from the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University and retired from the Kroger Co. Phil enjoys serving people in a variety of ways and working in a Christian environment with dedicated, caring, and professional people.

JL was born and raised in Blanchester, Ohio and graduated from Blanchester High School 1960. JL spent 3 yrs in The U.S. Army from 1961 - 1964. JL attended The Cincinnati Bible College and worked for Cincinnati Milacron for 33 years and retired in 2002. JL has served as a Minister at The Blanchester Church of Christ, Martinsville Church of Christ, Leorado Church of Christ, Monterey Christian Church, and currently at the Moscow Church of Christ.

Chanel is a 3 yr. old Cavachon who comes to work everyday with a loving and caring attitude. Her job is to provide the comfort for those who have lost a loved one. Chanel may be one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet.
